Multi-Residential, Mixed Use

The Wellington

The Ocean Meets the Coast

Coastal luxury living at the Wellington, a high-rise development that captures the essence of Coolangatta. As a Gold Coast high-rise architect, we have crafted a design that harmoniously blends with the vibrant culture and lifestyle of this coastal haven.

Our expertise in high-end residential design and apartment building design shines through in every aspect of the Wellington. Inspired by the seamless union of the ocean and coast, the building stands tall, resembling solid sandy rocks at its foundation and transitioning into deep ocean blue as it ascends. The captivating ribbon screen, mirroring the ebb and flow of ocean swells, gracefully envelops the structure, culminating in a breathtaking rooftop bar that offers panoramic views of Coolangatta. As the ribbon folds over the roof, it mirrors the thrilling sight of surfers riding the exhilarating barrels of Snapper Rocks.

In this mixed-use residential building, we have seamlessly integrated convenience and functionality by securing an agreement with the Queensland Department of Natural Resources to utilise the land beneath the existing park for basement car parking. This collaboration not only enhances convenience for residents but also demonstrates our commitment to the surrounding community.

As a multi-residential architect and commercial architect, we understand the importance of creating spaces that connect and uplift communities. In addition to the project itself, we have taken on the responsibility to upgrade the existing park, serving as a vital connector between Coolangatta and its sister town, Tweed Heads.
