Lightwave was enlisted to unleash the full potential of this prime riverfront property while adhering to existing conditions—a 30-year-old approval for a caravan park. Our mission was clear: deliver high-quality design solutions at an affordable cost, utilising innovative planning and mobile technology.

To meet the diverse needs of future residents, we developed a range of modular dwellings, offering 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms. Leveraging mobile technology, our designs seamlessly fulfilled the approval requirements for a caravan park, ensuring compliance and flexibility.

Working within site constraints and budgetary considerations, our design incorporated an intelligent layout that grouped dwellings into sets of four, with carports and decks connecting each cluster. This innovative approach created open and green courtyards, optimising both space utilisation and a sense of community. We prioritised access to natural light and cross ventilation by strategically positioning the dwellings to capture northern solar exposure and corner breezes.

Our commitment to simplicity in design, combined with cutting-edge building technology, resulted in a climatically responsive solution that perfectly suited the beachfront/river environment. By harnessing modular construction techniques, we achieved cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality—a crucial advantage in a dynamic market.
